Dr. Williams serves as an assistant professor at University of Tennessee and owner of Unmask Consulting. He wrote From Thug to Scholar: An Odyssey to Unmask my True Potential (2nd edition). He has published research on emotional intelligence, soft skills, transformational leadership, employee training, mentorship, hospitality pedagogy, human resource management, and professional development. He completed his PhD in Hospitality Management at Iowa State University and also played collegiate football for Methodist University and professional arena football for the Raleigh Rebels. Dr. Williams is a professional speaker: he has served as a keynote speaker for Coffeewood Correctional Institution, public schools, colleges, fortune 500 companies, professioanl organizations, and gave commencement speeches to two VA high schools. He has functioned in supervisory roles for the United States Air Force, banking, sales, manufacturing, hospitality, and education.

The purpose of this show is to address the authenticity of the Bible. This show will provide historical, archaeological, and/or genetic evidence supporting the existence of black and brown people in the Scriptures; respond to the arguments of racism used by critics of the Bible and the effects of Christianity being whitewashed; and educate listeners on why racism is not only un-biblical but is evil when understood from the perspective of God.

Angie Torain comes to UIW from The Summit League where she has served as the associate commissioner for

administrative services over the past four years. In that role she led the League’s strategic plan initiatives and was

liaison for the NCAA Certification Program for member schools. She worked with the League’s academic reviews,

compliance reviews, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and contracts.

Torain worked at the NCAA for two different stints. She started their in August 1999 and was the assistant director of

enforcement/secondary violations for three years. She returned in September 2006 as the assistant director of

championships for a little over a year. In between those two jobs, she was the associate commissioner for

institutional services, championship administrator and senior woman administrator for the Mid-Continent Conference

(now The Summit League)
