Westerhaus-Renfrow is a recognized university administrator, educator, consultant and lawyer who formerly held a senior administrator role at the NCAA. She has been quoted in media including The New York Times, USA Today, The Huffington Post, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Diverse Issues in Higher Education, Washington Post, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Orlando Sentinel, and Indianapolis Star. Westerhaus-Renfrow is a senior lecturer at the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI. In addition, she is president of the consulting firm ChangePro LLC. In 2008, she was honored with the First Decade Award by the National Association of College and University Attorneys. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of College and University Law. Westerhaus-Renfrow has a deep connection to the Indianapolis community and serves on several boards, including the Indianapolis Charter School Board, The Early Career Academy Charter School Board, IUPUI Chancellor’s Advisory Board, Talent Alliance, Salvation Army, and Indiana Board of Law Examiners. She received her bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in student personnel administration from Ohio University.
