Abhiyan is a global citizen who travelled the world to explore career opportunities.

He is a super-open-minded extrovert individual originally from India. He came to Europe to gain experience in research as an intern in Vienna and continued to pursue his Masters there. Having an explorer mindset, he moved to Germany and started his PhD. in Life Sciences. At the time of the recording, he was still finalizing his PhD. and was looking for his next career step. He shared his strategies on what he thinks is the right approach for career transition, moving from academia into the “real” world of business.

Michel cares about the people in his teams. He has a special sense for their development. He studied flute performance before moving into physical chemistry, in which he has a PhD. With his passion for music, he draws unique parallels with music's ability to communicate without talking for his approach as a leader of a large team. He uses this perspective as a principle for leading people.

Through his background and his own life experience, he helps people to push themselves into the unknown in order to grow both professionally and personally.

Before stepping into a department leader and hiring manager role, Michel comes from a strong track record in corporate research positions. The team he leads today has around 40 people.

Jürgen is a digital native. No, he isn’t part of generation Y but is a Baby boomer. He is different than most people I have met. He is the type of person who lets you realise how fascinating leadership can be. You meet him once and you will never forget this encounter - probably what makes him a great people manager.

Jürgen looks back over 35+ years in multinationals. He has worked in multiple countries and led huge organisations with untypical leadership principles. Today, he has more than 150 direct reports which he feels connected to.

Current role:

Jürgen is a Partner at MHP, a Porsche Company. He leads a division focused on connected vehicles - most of us use products and systems (such as embedded navigation systems) that have been influenced by his team.

Bert is a ball of energy. He is a down-to-earth and really busy Executive. But when he´s going to meet with you, he´s 15 minutes early and even has time for a coffee chat. We´ve met several times and it´s always a pleasure speaking to him. We discussed why sports is vital for keeping him in balance while being on frequent business travels, what motivates him most in business and why he´s the same down-to-earth person he always was.
