Tarzan finally outlived his usefulness to the women. He also managed to melt down while he was in the process of making a somewhat convincing case for how he could get to final 3. Kim was busy as usual, playing all sides and somehow convincing them that she was allied with each person. Tarzan tried the same ploy and was promptly busted and booted out of the tribe. Kat's first "wake up call" came on day 5 at the tribal council in episode 2. The Salani tribe was deciding between voting out Kat or Nina. When asked if they would choose the same day one alliance members if they could do it again, Kim, Chelsea and Sabrina all said no. Kat's second wake up call came in the reward challenge in episode 11 when she got the most votes for a castaway, wait for it, most in need of a "wake up call". The last call came in this episode when she was blindsided while laughing at how funny blindsides are. Kat's antics did provide lots of fuel for your quips and jokes this week, and for that we are thankful. You guys also managed to find a scenario where everyone left in the game, even Christina, could end up winning, and we didn't think that was possible. Nice work!

She came very close to being voted out on day 5, but an early alliance opted to keep her even though they openly expressed regretting that first choice. Her clueless approach to life often proved entertaining for the fans, but in the end it was her undoing. Yes Kat, blindsides are fun and exciting, for the fans. Poor clueless Kat, Kat the brat, the fart blossom of her tribe. She provided lots of comic relief and her occasional struggles for self awareness and the consideration of her legacy in the game, almost make us feel sorry for her, almost. In the end, she might have a shot at being remembered for lowering the bar of comparison for future castaways. Kim made another strategic blunder this week, but was able to lay most of that off on Kat. She appears unstoppable at this point. Only a bitter jury will foil her plans to win it all! Who will Kim choose to replace Kat in her final three master plan? Who of the remaining players represent the biggest physical threats? How about the strategic threats? The likes of Christina and Tarzan stump most all of us. They don't seem to have a role to play in the game. As much as we wish for a misfits alliance, there seems little chance of it ever happening with this crew. Many lamented the elimination of Troyzan, and others found it predictable given that he couldn't curb his emotions enough to build an alliance to take on queen Kim. It's not clear yet if her stumble this week will have any repercussions, but many of us hold out hope for a new challenger to arise, if only to add some drama to a such a dominant performance.

Hooray! We finally got a chopping block challenge. We love these because they often help point out the unspoken order within alliances and can serve as wakeup calls to the ones stuck at the bottom. The tribemate quiz versions also offer the opportunity for the castaways to be mean to each other which can sometimes result in long standing grudges. Troy, Christina and Sabrina were on the receiving end of the beatdown this time. The overwhelming odds finally got the best of Troy. We give him credit for not giving up and trying everything he could think of all the way to the bitter end. He unfortunately poisoned the waters with all his previous outbursts which limited his opportunities to win someone over to his side when he needed it the most. Christina was chosen as least deserving to still be in the game. Yet she is still here. She doesn't even seem to be a target for the next episode. Do you think she has a chance of making it to the end? What do you think Troy's final words to Kat meant? When is the right time to challenge Kim? Who could make the best case to beat her at this point? Do you think Tarzan could win if they drag him to final 3? Kim appeared to make some significant tactical errors in this episode. Did she jeopardize her chances to win? Does it make her appear to be less of a threat? There are now five jury members. Who do you think they are leaning towards for the win?
