This
week, Ginger will be talking to Lanaia Lee about her upcoming book "Of
Atlantis," which is the first book in a 5 book series. After suffering and
surviving a stroke at age 35 due to high blood pressure. Her disease is called
erratic hypertension. Ever since the stroke, Lanaia has been in a wheelchair,
but she hasn't let that stop her one bit! In Lanaia's own words, "I still rock
and roll, and I mean literally roll!" Lanaia has also lost six children due to
her problem with blood pressure, leaving her with no living children, except for
her four-legged friend. He is her baby and constant companion. She has been
married to a wonderful husband for fourteen years, who is also in a wheelchair,
but they live totally independently. Although according to Lanaia, "This factor
does make life interesting! But we face each challenge with the help of God."

week, Ginger will be talking to Jazz Singer, Liza Lee. Liza's music touches
so many in so many different ways. She covers the pain and many of the questions
that we ask in life. Liza Lee, the indie jazz girl, hits the scene combining the

unique, alternately soulful and playful voice on cutting edge versions of jazz,

week Ginger & Haullie will be interviewing Angela Shelton. Survivor, Actress,
Documentary Filmmaker, Author, Screen-Writer, Pioneer & Superwoman! Angela is
the producer/director of the documentary film 'Searching for Angela Shelton'.
She also released a book in April 2008. The book is called: 'Finding Angela
Shelton: The True Story of One Woman's Triumph over Sexual Abuse.' The book
runs parallel to the movie. In it, Angela shares how making the film forced her
to face her past. She wrote the book to call for a healing revolution after
seeing so many people in pain. Angela has pioneered many unique projects such as
Angela's Army of Angels, her delightful online cooking show 'Stirring Up
Trouble', The Survivor Manual and more. She actively travels the world giving
presentations on protecting yourself, releasing anger, finding self-esteem and
learning to heal with growing self-confidence and self-love as your goal.

are a secondary survivor if a friend, partner, girlfriend, boyfriend, mother,
sister, child, or anyone you are very close to is a survivor of sexual assault,
physical or emotional abuse. Even if the assault or abuse happened a long
time ago, you may be the first person they have told and your reaction can have
a tremendous impact on the rest of the recovery process. Often, secondary
survivors go through many of the same feelings that survivor's experience. You
can feel powerless, guilty, shocked, angry, or scared. On today's show, we will

secondary survivor, what her emotions were like when Ginger told her story, and

Every year, thousands of innocent young girls are being trapped into teen prostitution. The average age for a teenager to turn to prostitution is 13. Many of these girls are runaways, escaping a life of domestic violence only to become the victims of "pimps" who prey on their vulnerability. Ginger and Haullie are going to open your eyes to the reality that is behind every young girl who is being sexually exploited. We will break the silence regarding the physical and emotional issues facing these young girls and women today. We'll also discuss how "pimps" brainwash young girls and are spending 110% of their time finding their next victim to sell for money. About
3% of American men, or 1 in 33 men, have experienced an attempted or completed
rape in their lifetime. 1 in 3 boys will experience some form of sexual
abuse or molestation before the age of 18. In 2003, 1 in every ten rape victims
were male. 2.78 million men in the U.S. have been victims of sexual assault or
rape. Let us end the cycle of silence for all men! This is not just a woman's
issue, you too have a choice and a voice to speak out. It's time to shed light
on a very real, very personal issue regarding male sexual abuse. Today's topic
will cover areas of the aftermath such as self-blame, myths and stigmas,
