My experience on how this book basically changed my life and the story of how it continues to do so is held in these episodes.

I tiled this episode Dividends of Devotion, because I have been exploring this concept for a long time now. 

This episode was recorded the winter of 2021. 

It is being posted at the end of Summer 2022. Wow.

 What happened?

Why did I wait so long?

I was busy living.

After recording this episode, I went into a VERY DEEP DIVE, soon I committed all of myself to this endeavor by booking an art show for the end of Summer 2022. this show was to encapsulate all the feelings, stories, lessons , wisdom etc... of this journey.

That is what art is to me.

What I choose

Wholeheartedly

devoted to it 

love of the journey

so deep

the destination is just a game target

 to get out there

and put in the beautiful work.

Anyway, the show " Dividends of Devotion" by @rabidlegion, is on show at REDUX Contemporary Art Center in Charleston SC; from July 26 to September 10th 2022. 

Im posting this podcast now because, I?T IS so relevant AND I forgot that it was even made! lol

I was actually logging on here to tell you 2 cool new things.

1- While I was away, I started a podcast with my friend Marguerite, The podcast is called : THE COSMIC AFFAIR . We get deep into the human experience .

2- MF Curious is coming back !!! I have met so many amazing humans this past year and I am so happy to get to share these chats with y'all. Creativity is flourishing all around us.

This episode I share from the book :  Atomic Habits by James Clear.

This book is important to me because I have struggled to break up with  bad habits in the past. I had a strict / forced relationship with discipline when I was young. #nohate However because of that, when I was a teenager I swung so far the other way and became a Toxic Rebel. I would rebel in such an explosive and aggressive way sometimes, that reaction would hurt me more than whatever I was being subjected to. #rebelwithoutacause . Anyhow, something that got me scared straight and into this gem of a book, was when I noticed my health taking a big hit due to my “bad habits” . This book has helped me rebuild the trustworthiness within myself, in the easiest way I've ever experienced.

This episode I share from the book : Mastery of Love by Don Miguiel Ruiz.

This book is important to me because, in my exploration of creativity, love has proven to be the BEST fuel!! That is important because this is the journey of a lifetime, at least for me. In this episode I touch back on some reflections that have come up for me since the last episode when I read the story of “Artemis and Hercules”.  A lot has come up for me exploring this myth and of course ! I am making this all about romance.

I have been working super hard on developing a series of art shows / a body of work I call 1800 Freedom.
