We desire more missionaries, but do we live a life that allows us to be missionaries in our hometowns? We must not only desire more missionaries, but we must also live lives that allow ourselves to be used of God to spread the Gospel.

Every believer is faced with the decision of whether they will obey or disobey God. Obedience to God is necessary if the believer is to please his Maker. Are we, like Peter, launching out in obedience to God, or are we staying put to please ourselves?

Though Jan Hus began his life in ignominy in Bohemia, he finished his life well-known throughout Europe for his stand for the Scriptures. God used this man of humble origin to maintain and spread the truth of the Word of God. Through his ministry, the common people of England and Europe clamored ever more loudly for the Word of God.

Our duty to the Saviour is to believe on Him. This faith is followed immediately with obedience to Him and His Word. The end result of faith and obedience is praising Him. He truly is worthy.

How can we stand firm in God in the most difficult of times? We stand firm by fixing our hope steadfastly on the future of God's grace through Jesus Christ. We can have a sound mind predicated in a lively hope. This hope's greatest element is the assurance of our salvation.

God gives believers opportunities to serve Him, and all too often, we forget who He is. Instead of trusting in His might to provide, we turn back from battle because of the giants of this world. God gives the opportunity, and we turn our back to it.

The believer has a duty to the Saviour. Jesus Christ is our foundation. It is He that we lean on not only for salvation, but also for sanctification. It is our duty to be building on this foundation properly.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a divine act with eternal implications. It affirms Jesus' victory over death, provides promises of eternal life, and necessitates an individual choice to follow Him. The truth of Christ's resurrection dramatically transforms the life of every believer.

What is the Gospel? It is vital that we know what the Gospel of Jesus Christ really is in order that we properly and accurately witness to the lost souls around us. It is not simply good news or God's Love. It is the story of mankind's sinfulness and God's great love that gifted mankind a way to spend eternal life with Him.
