Meekness is a necessity in the believers life if we are to live obediently before God. Thankfully, it is through walking in the Spirit that indwells us that we are capable of having this necessary fruit.

Is it God's intent that we know that we have eternal life? How can we be certain that we are saved? There are questions that can be asked to give evidence for or against one's salvation.

The believer can be sure that persecutions and trials will come. How we deal with suffering starts with our knowledge of our salvation. There are certain things we must know about our salvation.

Joshua had seen the power of God on multiple occasions, but he still needed to be reminded of God's almighty power. We too must remember our ever-present need for God's great power in our lives. Without it, we will fail in our God-given responsibility to serve Him fruitfully.

Restlessness of the soul is ultimately the result of pride. Pride manifests itself in many ways, but its results are always the same. Only when one is governed by God will his soul be peaceful.

The accomplishing of God's will requires spiritual stamina of which no man is capable of producing. To serve God requires the believer recognizing his need for strength and then seeking God daily for the strength to do God's will.

Only through the power of Jesus Christ will the believer be able to endure the hurdles and obstacles of life and ministry. In one's own strength, they will fail most miserably.

It is God's will that every believer knows they are saved. If one is doubting ones salvation, there are certain questions one can ask if they are doubting their salvation that will make their salvation evident or nonexistent.

Children are a gift from God to their parents. In the life of Christ, it is evident that He had a special love and care for children. How can we today bless the children God has given us?

It is quite true that Christ had compassion on the children. However, we can never place children above Christ in our churches or in our homes. Christ must always be preeminent.
