In a time of ungodliness and oppression, the saint can have hope in His God. No greater hope exist than His Light and Truth.

Israel hoped in God in times of past troubles and will in her future Great Tribulation. Equally, we must a seek like saints of old to hope thou in God. He alone is the health of our countenance.

Waiting can be a terrible experience if you do not have purpose. While admonishing the saint to be patient, the Scriptures commands the enduring ones to remember some important truths.
