Trouble has a way of exposing the depth and character of our prayer life. Often when difficulty arise, our prayer life increases, and in times of ease our prayer life decreases. Yet, the imperatives of Scripture beckon us to pray always.

How do we reach this world with the Gospel of Christ- God has laid out a blueprint whereby we might have success.

In times of trouble, a saint should not resign themselves to passivity because of the sovereignty of God, nor should they ask amiss. Rather, they must by faith and through active petition seek God's glory.

The OT priest was involved in the offering of the best sacrifices unto the Lord. There were many different sacrifices that were offered. Such is our spiritual sacrifices that we should continually offer to God through Jesus Christ.

Intense continual service was the theme of the life of those in the priestly ministry. They were dedicated to the service of God. New Testament saints are begged by the tender mercies of God to present themselves unto God, which is their reasonable service.

God's justice is delayed for the unrighteous. When His forbearance is past, there will come a time of definite recompense. The only place escape can be found is in the salvation of Jesus Christ.

Obedience is EXTREMELY important in the life of the child of God. We are to follow the example of Christ, who was obedient even until death. It is the doer of the Word that shall be blessed in his deed.

There is coming a time of Divine Retribution. He will be revealed from Heaven with His Mighty Angels in Flaming Fire.

The OT priest was the official messenger for God -Mal. 2.7-. The NT saint has the responsibility to take the message of God -the Gospel- to all the world.

Trouble is a common experience, but for saints, it is promised -John 16.33-. Despite all of the trouble of this life, the child of God can know and possess true rest-
