    Abdulmajid Abubakar, an environmental activist from Nigeria, who became an activist after he lost his farm due to climate change. You can listen to how Abdulmajid turned his loss into action and empowerment in Episode 14.  

    Sahil Shah, tech and sustainability entrepreneur from the UK. In Episode 17, I will discuss with Sahil how to assess and model large-scale natural disasters, so stay tuned.  

    Jakob Thomae, a social entrepreneur and sustainable finance expert from Germany. You will find a very informative discussion with Jakob about how to invest sustainably in Episode 10.

    About the guest  

    Louise had her ‘aha’ moment with the vegan movement as a teenager when a chance encounter led her to consider compassionate living for the first time. She gave up eating meat on the spot and never turned back. Over the next 35 years, Louise lived first hand with the evolution of veganism in the UK and all over the world. Louise turned down a place at Cambridge University studying social and political science to pursue a career in business. Louise is described as a serial entrepreneur in the well being sector, with a 30-year track record in business, including several online stores, a digital media company, and a bricks and mortar leisure business. She successfully negotiated her first exit last year, selling her multi-site leisure business in its entirety.

    Abdulmajid Abubakar is a Climate Change Activist, Environmentalist and a Natural Resource Manager from Nigeria. He is a Founder and Project Coordinator of Eyes on the Environment Initiative, a youth-led organization advocating for a sustainable future.  Abdulmajid raises awareness of the impact of Deforestation, Desertification, and Drought on the most vulnerable, and degraded landscapes in dryland regions of Nigeria. He engages school pupils, youths and traditional leaders to partake in Climate Action.  He has the desire to boost rural livelihood, provide a better life for women and children, and provide access to clean water for its dwellers, sustainable agriculture, good governance, and environmental sustainability.

She previously owned different businesses in fashion and textile, and recently became a fashion activist. She works on  biodegradable outfits and installations in a concept or project way, using textiles and thread, and plant dyes in an earth-friendly way. She stopped buying new materials and uses only what is already available around, like not sold collections, own clothes, recycled linen of a hotel nearby and dye from the Willow tree or birch. Marijke organises and hosts an online textile recycle community project called New Opulence and participates in different exhibitions.
