Liv and Los think its time mining corporations in Nevada pay their fair share. Especially now with an economy disrupted by COVID, ranking 44th investing in schools per student and the quality of public education ranks 50th in the nation! The Nevada Legislature is considering two resolutions to have mining proceeds help support Nevada’s struggling budget. This multibillion-dollar industry pays less than 1% in taxes; when that revenue would go to education, healthcare and public services. We can do this by passing AJR1**
