Whomever you think you are, there is a deeper dimension than you are probably basing yourself in – a deeper level that you’re not yet basing yourself in. When you base yourself in the foundational Beingness that underlies all of existence, everything blossoms forth from that foundational Beingness – Self, for your own Self is all-knowing all-embracing Divine Essence, the source of love and joy and bliss, and when you look inside, you’re right there – right here, Oh Shiva!

Well, I’m going to tell a secret. Shiva’s secret. He’s hiding in plain sight. He’s being you, looking through your eyes, hearing through your ears, experiencing all that you experience, and you don’t know. It’s the mystical secret from beyond time. Your secret that even you don’t know. Thus, knowing is the goal. I look at you and I see Shiva pretending to be less than Shiva, delighting in his assumed identity, but you don’t know what’s going on inside. Shh, it’s a secret. You are Shiva.

You don’t become Shiva you simply find that you already are. You let yourself know your own Self. You be you at the deepest and most expansive level within, oh Shiva. If you’re not able to do that just yet, it’s okay. I have more words and more practices that will get you there. Actually, it’s getting you here, right here. There’s no “there” to go to. It’s right here, right inside. So, you’re being you more fully, more wholly, more authentically you.

There are three paths to enlightenment. The first is cultivating the knowing or feeling of being Shiva. The second path is to fill your mind with the energy of Consciousness by doing more mantra. The third path is to delve into the yoga practices that you resonate with. Most importantly, the support and guidance of a Master will help you on your path to enlightenment.

Jesus was a mystic.  When I say that Jesus was a mystic, then I have to explain:  What is a mystic?   The dictionary gives us a good definition, saying that a mystic is a person who seeks to attain unity with or absorption into the deity or the Absolute by contemplation and self-surrender.  Or, one who believes in the spiritual knowing of truths that are beyond the intellect.   You might qualify, you think?

You matter. In life you usually focus on the experiences, as though they matter, as though they make you who you are. But your essence is unchanged, regardless of the circumstances. You are you. You are Consciousness. You matter.
