Welcome back to another episode and we have lots going on. Biggest one being Remedy will be remaking Max Payne 1 and 2 into a single title!! Epic Games had a Unreal Engine 5 showcase that showed off some pretty cool possibilities. Kingdom Hearts also had a showcase showing off all its new titles. Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced and it showed off some footage. It looks very very different and that is probably a good thing. Lastly, the final tally for the money raised for Ukraine by Fortnite is $144 million within 2 weeks. 

Sony Playstation finally announced the details of the new Playstation Plus subscription service. It definitely looks like a good enough plan for where they are in the market. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 has been delayed to Spring of 2023 and some teaser footage was showcased in the announcement of it. Fortnite no build mode was made permanent and at the time of the recording Fortnite had raised over 100 million doll hairs for Ukraine, Wild Shit! E3 has officially been cancelled for 2022 big ouch but is it really a big deal anymore. Lastly, FromSoftware (Souls games) reached out to author Brandon Sanderson of the Stormlight Archive/Cosmere books for a possible game collab. 

Lots to talk about this episode, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands released and for the most part its Borderlands 3 but in a good way. Halo TV show released it's first episode on Paramount +. Viewers wise it did well, but review wise not great. Sony acquired Haven Studio which is odd for Sony since they have not even produced a game yet. Rockstar is doing Rockstar things by putting out a membership plan for GTA online (mind blown). CD Project Red did a tease of the next Witcher title, will they keep rocking with Geralt? Fortnite is donating stupid amounts of money for Ukraine for the first 2 weeks of the new season of the game. So far they raised 70 million. 

Congrats you book and magic nerds! We finally got gameplay footage for the upcoming single player RPG Hogwarts Legacy. Honestly, it does not look bad and has some potential. Mario Kart 8 got its first DLC track update with the the Booster Pass. You can either buy it right out or be a Nintendo Online + member and have access to the DLC. FYI, Elden Ring still good!

Surprise Surprise Rockstar Games is not giving Grand Theft Auto 5 and Online a free next gen upgrade. They did graciously give an initial discount to current owners before bumping it up to full price. For the boomer gamers out there, Chrono Trigger on Steam received an update. It includes steam deck changes and some quality of life changes. End game content was announced for Tiny Tina's Wonderland and it has roguelite elements similar to Gunfire Reborn. Lastly, Amazon Prime got dibs for a God of War adaptation. Will it follow the reboot story Norse setting, Greek OG setting, or a mixture of both. PS, Elden Ring is still good.

We dive into Elden Ring further as we have all past the 2nd boss. The game is quite amazing in how each of us can have different experience and find things that the other has not yet. Elden Ring is truly a masterclass in designing an open world. 343 Industries has finally spoken about whats to come and quite frankly it's not much. Xbox Game Pass has some new games worth checking out and some nice added features for PC users. 

Big news week! We dive into our Elden Ring impressions, Steam Deck reservations and shipping news (We didn't make the Q1 cut), Pokemon  Violet and Scarlet was announced. We dive into some talks about pricing and offering from Sony Playstations Project Spartacus (PS Game Pass  equivalent). Speaking of Xbox Game Pass, Valve made a comment stating "yeah let's do it".

We hit 100 episodes!!! Crazy we have done this for a few years now. Thank you all for watching and listening to us ramble. We have some quick impressions of Lost Ark and we are still enjoying Valheim. EA acknowledges Battlefield 2042 failure while yet still makes blames towards others. Cyberpunk 2077 puts out its real first update, hopefully this is the right direction moving forward. Lastly, Amazon gets first dibs on some video game IPs for Prime TV.

We dive into the changes for season 12 of Apex Legends (FYI, it's a good game). Aidan's PC is still randomly shutting off but, he does give us his impressions of Sifu. Lots to talk about over the Nintendo Direct. A bunch of remasters for those that didn't grow up with the things. 

Surprise surprise Sony made an acquisition. A rather interesting one and somewhat unexpected choice. Bungie is to be acquired by Sony for $3.6 billion and is looking to leverage their experience in live service games with a goal to launch 10 Live Service Games by March 2026. Quite ambitious and it seems Sony is hungry for more studios. We discuss initial impressions of Pokemon Arceus, Dying Light 2 and some time in Valheim. Crack a bottle sit back and enjoy!
