El Paso tattoo artist, Amanda E. Macias joins me to talk about her background, drawing aliens, her influences and the first time she applied to work at a parlor and was rejected. Amanda shares some stories regarding some of the obstacles she has faced as a female artist, advice for young female tattoo artists and customer “dos and don’ts”. She also tells us about the time she misspelled “maybe” on a customer’s tattoo.

Mando and Aurelio talk about their upbringing, how they met, what inspired them to start Evolution Foods and Get Fit El Paso. We also discuss self-image, wellness, fitness and “leveling up”. We conclude with an emotional and motivational speech from Mando that would make Tony Robbins jealous.
