Emcee, Luck (AKA Luckyiam of the world-renowned Living Legends) and singer, songwriter, emcee, Lana are Luck & Lana. They joined my special guest co-host, Jeanette, and I to talk about how they met, their newest album (GO) and their friendship with the late Cadalack Ron. We discuss how the legendary Ras Kass wound up on the awesome single, “Type”, a possible reunion tour with Living Legends, Lana’s multiple hustles, dealing with negative social media comments, and the origin of the name, Luckyiam and PSC. Lucky also shares a dope story about how Living Legends snuck their way on to a line-up for a show in Cologne, Germany which included The Pharcyde.

Diego and Aspen are two gifted artists from Los Angeles who were in town for their “Alter Egos” exhibit at Dream Chasers Club gallery. Diego shares with us how his mother’s absence inspired him to become an artist and Aspen tells us about how his involvement with the anti-graffiti program, T.A.G. (Totally Against Graffiti) introduced him to street art. Diego talks about the time he and his crew were “catching bombs” in Mexico and had to run through “shit water” in order to escape a blanket of gunfire from police. We discuss the pros and cons of L.A. and El Paso life. We also share our thoughts on the passing of legendary emcee, Phife Dawg, Star Wars and more.

Two of the dopest emcees in the game sit down to talk about the Mag Mob Tour and their close friendship with the late, legendary Sean Price. We discuss what Mag dislikes about the underground Hip Hop scene and the state of his relationship with super group, Army of the Pharaohs. Ruste breaks down his most recent release, Meteorite and reveals that he is not “feeling the Bern”. Mag also shares a hilarious 9th Wonder related story.

Multitalented songstress, Meganoke and Hip Hop icon, 2Mex join us to talk about writing custom songs, tour life, Megan's many talents, 2Mex's Underground OG Cake Batter, McGregor vs Diaz and upcoming projects. 2Mex shares a crazy story about meeting a fan whose life was saved when a Visionaries CD blocked an attempted stabbing to the heart. The hilarious, artist/battle rapper/adventurer, Random Cushing talks about the time he traveled to Odessa, TX for an anticlimactic rap battle, the proper pronunciation of “foliage” and his awesome burrito scoring system. He shares an epic story about spending the night on a love seat located directly next to the bed of a gay man who kept switching the channel to “Skinemax”.
