Back after two months with a new episode. The last two months has brought a lot of challenges, some good, ugly and heartbreaking. Trying to find a balance in life while making sure I’m doing my best to advocate for #1 and that’s Cortland. This will be a two part series. I won’t leave anything out for our journey could help someone just beginning or that has been on for a while. There is no easy way to do this, except take and accept these challenges one day at a time.

The struggles of feeling like all hope is lost. Sometimes, you feel like no matter how hard you try or what you do it is just simply never enough. However, those that you feel it is simply not enough for are the ones that do not matter. At that point you feel deflated and defeated; all your hope is lost. This feeling can be overwhelming.

Living in a Therapy World brings many challenges and changes. We have made some major changes in our Therapy World. Sometimes you have to look pass how womderful an individual is, and re-evaluate their position on your team. Remember you are your child's biggest advocate so it is imperative to make sure the individuals in place are actually working for the best interest of your child. Therapists become like family and in some families you face separation and divorce. We've just experienced our first divorce. It's just that way sometimes

Taking a look back at an emotional Facebook post I made a year ago today and discussing how the words in that Post resurfaced at the same time this year. transitioning can be hard, and when a parent is doing all they can it’s hard to hear, “ you need to do more or you need to do better”.
