Through James 5 Vs 19-20, we will see the importance of identifying and helping those who have wandered from their faith, using prayer, encouragement, correction, confrontation, and love to guide them back to the truth and save their souls from spiritual death.

In James 5 Verses 16b-18 we are given the example of Elijah who experienced the power of God through prayer. James encourages us by reminding us that Elijah was "A Guy Like Us"

James 5 Verses 13-18 encourages us to make prayer our first response, not our last resort, and to pray continually and on all occasions.

Jesus is in the business of removing stones in our lives that limit our fruitfulness by rolling away the Stones of Doubt, Despair, and Dread, and gives us hope to stand on solid ground through faith in Him.

Matthew 21 Vs 1-13 begins Jesus' final week leading to his crucifixion and ending in his resurrection. On this Sunday we remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

In Chapter 5 Verses 1-12 James warns the wealthy to not hoard their wealth but use it to care for the poor, he reminds Christians to be patient and persevere until the coming of the Lord, and emphasizes the importance of truth and trust, as the last days are near.

In Chapter 4 Vs 13-17, James teaches us to reject "Practical Atheism". We must acknowledge that God is sovereign and our plans should be made with the consideration of His will.

In Chapter 4 Vs 11-12 we learn that slander has no place in the church and that God alone is the judge.

In Chapter 4 Vs 7-10, James lays out ten commands that all centre on our need to "Draw Near To God"
