Switch Youth

Because God is holy, He doesn’t always answer our prayers the way we want Him to. But because God is a good and loving Father, we can trust He will give us exactly what we need. We can come to Him with faith that He will meet us with love.

Jesus wants you to be free from living for people’s approval—so you can stop doing good for the sake of your own reputation. God loves you and doesn’t require performance or perfection in prayer. Instead, He wants a real relationship with you.

If you had to rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 (10 is the best ever, 1 is terrible), how's prayer going for you right now? Maybe you grew up praying at meals or before bed, maybe you memorized certain prayers at school, and maybe the idea of prayer seems totally ridiculous to you. Wherever you are, join us as we have an honest conversation about the purpose and power of prayer.

We’ve all told lies—to get what we want, get out of trouble, or avoid hurt feelings. So, is lying really that bad? In this message, we’re exploring Jesus’ call for us to be people of integrity, people who don’t just speak the truth but live it!

Jesus is raising the bar and getting to the heart when it comes to the words we say and the people we become. In this episode, we talk about commitments, breaking promises, and how to be the kind of people who don't wait to get caught to confess.

In a world that glorifies sexual expression, how can you make choices that honor Jesus? Culture offers a lot of bad advice, but only Jesus can restore our hearts and bring us out of the temptation trap. Let Him show you the way.

A great question to ask when you read the gospels is, "What did Jesus mean when He said that?" To help us answer that question, we remember that Jesus is King and context is everything. Tune into this episode for an example of how the rest of the New Testament can help us get a fuller picture of what Jesus' teachings mean for us today!

Jesus cares about who you become, so much so that He raises the bar. Those things we let ourselves get away with? Jesus addresses them. Not because He’s a micromanager—but because He’s full of mercy and wants us to become people with pure hearts.
