God’s attributes can be categorized as either incommunicable or communicable. Incommunicable attributes are unique to God, whereas communicable attributes can be imitated by us to a degree.

As we study the attributes of God, it is inevitable that we will run into mystery. This should not deter us from learning about God. Instead we should be driven to love and appreciate God more deeply for the fact that He is so much beyond us. All that we know of the mystery of God is revealed to us in Scripture. Therefore, let us dive deep into the Word and see God as He has revealed Himself.
