Jesus had to go to the cross to rescue us from our sins. The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost. In Luke 23:32, we see Jesus on the cross being mocked by the people.

Jesus loves you, and that is made clear when we look at the cross. 

“It wasn’t God’s will that the cup of wrath would pass from Jesus, but that the cup would pass from you.”
