Australia's arts sector plays a vital role in the nation's identity and it's also a a major contributor to the economy.

New government data has revealed the arts added around $67 billion to the economy in 2023 to 2024 but despite this, many artists and cultural institutions are still struggling to get by. Today, a summit in Sydney will discuss whether tax reform could be a solution.
