Ama acıların, öfkenin daha da katlanmasına, içinden çıkılmaz hal almasına neden olur.
Acı yaşanması ve kabul edilmesi gereken bir duygudur. Ruha da şifadır. Acıyı red ettiğiniz, üzülmeyi gururuna yedirmediğiniz, ilaçla ve tercih olarak bundan kaçındığınız takdirde ilerleyen zamanlarda ertelenmiş üzüntü değdiğimiz ve psikolojik destek ve tedavi gerektiren bir hastalıkla yüzleşmek zorunda kalırız. Affetmek de böyledir. Acı verir ancak bunu yapmazsanız ruhen ve bedenen ağır bedeller ödemek zorunda kalırsınız. Affedemeyeceğiniz yara ne kadar büyük olursa, bunun için ödemek zorunda kalacağınız bedel de o kadar ağır olur.
