In Episode 55, I will continue with Combination Stunts and cover our Four From a Side stunts. We use these stunts to overload a side. I will go over the ones we use when we are defending the run and the ones we use to defend the pass. I will also go over the coverages that we use with these stunts. When this episode is over you will know the stunts we use to overload a side, how we run them, when we run them and what coverages we use with each.
If you have any questions that you would like to ask, or need anything please email me at [email protected]. Until then, Go Systemize Your Defense. I will see you on the next episode.

In Episode 54, I will continue with Combination Stunts and cover the stunts we use combining the Fronts Stunts and the Linebacker or Secondary Stunts. We only use these stunts in passing situations and preferably against four wide formations. However, we will still run them against a one tight end, one back set as well. In this show I will go over why we use these stunts, when we use them and the technique we use for them.

In Episode 53, I will begin a series of shows going over combination stunts starting with the first combination stunt we install, Pinch & Poke. Pinch is a six man stunt that includes a Tim, a Will and a Sam stunt and Cover 3 or 10 behind it. Poke is the off stunt of Pinch to where the defense shows Pinch but plays base responsibilities with a Tim stunt up front and Cover 5 behind it. In Pinch & Poke, we are trying to get the ball out of the quarterbacks hands quick rather it be a pass or option. In this episode we will cover each vs a pro formation, a spread and the flex bone.

In Episode 52, I will go over our defensive back stunts. Although we don't stunt much there are times that we need to be able to bring someone. If we are able to get a tendency on the offense we will take advantage of it. Tendencies we are looking for are personnel groupings, formations, down & distance and field position. We keep our stunts simple and consistent by tagging each position. By the end of the show you will know the defensive backs stunts, the coverage we run in the secondary with these stunts, how we tag each position with the stunt calls, when and why we use these stunts and when and why we pass these stunts down to the linebackers.

In Episode 51, I will go over our linebackers stunts, both inside and outside linebackers. Although we don't stunt much there are times that we need to be able to bring someone. We keep our stunts simple and consistent by tagging each position. By the end of the show you will know all of our inside and outside backer stunts, their responsibilities on each and the technique it takes to execute them.

In Episode 50, I will go over how we defend the Screen Pass while staying aggressive up front. Offenses attack aggressive defenses with multiple screens. I will cover how we stay aggressive and defend the screen at or behind the line of scrimmage. We will cover how we teach our front to read screen and run to the proper places and how we execute the screen drill in practice every week. I will also cover how we use combo coverage and walling by the linebackers to read and react quick with no indecisiveness. Finally we will cover who the most dangerous receiver on the field is in play action and how we use the phrase "Mug em Up" to make sure that we take him. When this episode is over you will know how we have been able to defend the screens over the years.

In Episode 49, I will go over Silver and Cloud. Silver and Cloud are secondary calls that we use when multiple receivers are lined up inside the outside backers. They are combo coverages. Silver is on the Rush side between the Free Safety and the $trong Safety when the #2 and #3 receivers are inside the Rush. Cloud can be on either side and is between the Corner and the Safety when #1 and #2 are inside the outside backer on their side. I will go over how we read the most inside receiver to fit for run or play combo coverage vs the pass.
