systemmastery – System Mastery

Relationship Mastery 3

In this episode, I’m fairly certain Jef and Claire probably talked about sex and relationships, like they both like to do so very much. Sorry, we forgot to futureproof the descriptions of these, so the first seven will have… vague descriptions. But this is groundwork for episodes 8 and beyond. Please enjoy.

Relationship Mastery 2

In this episode, I’m fairly certain Jef and Claire probably talked about sex and relationships, like they both like to do so very much. Sorry, we forgot to futureproof the descriptions of these, so the first seven will have… vague descriptions. But this is groundwork for episodes 8 and beyond. Please enjoy.

Relationship Mastery 1

The inaugural episode of our silly new show. If you thought Jef and Jon weren’t qualified to discuss RPGs, just want until you hear Claire and Jef discuss relationships, sex, fandom, and anything else that springs to mind.

System Mastery 281 – Modern Knights

Pssst, hey buddy, wanna buy a superhero game from 2002 that was pretty clearly written prior to 1999? How? Oh, let us explain. It’s Modern Knights! At least we know that much.

Expounded Universe 283 – Hex on the Breach

Well well, we’re already at a lightsaber fight. And get this, it’s like three chapters of action sequence in a row! In a Star Wars novel this is considered something of an anomaly, as the middle of the books is normally utilized largely to introduce the identical cousins of background cantina characters or extending the page count. But not here! Here we’re getting a fight!

System Mastery 280 – Thirsty Sword Lesbians

Hey who likes lesbians what have swords and powerful yearnings related to the other sword-bearing lesbians they encounter on their wild adventures? You I bet! Let’s review this game for the end of Pride Month, because we were in a hurry and this one has a big old gay word right there in the title. Nothing’s gayer than swords!

Announcement Mastery!
Collapse of the State of Iron is a weird book (definitely read the preview) about the end of a collapsing state, and is available on Amazon right here!

Movie Mastery – Billy Jack (1971)

A movie that seems by all measures to be one thing ends up being something else entirely. While not exactly a masterpiece because of some glaring issues, this might be one of the few 70’s movies we’ve watched we didn’t hate.

Expounded Universe 282 – Holy Stryver

The streams have begun to cross, but gently at first, as Ula Vii the reluctant spy has met everyone’s instant favorite, JET NEBULA. Meanwhile, Ax does sith stuff, Shigar does jedi stuff, and Larin is apparently quite hot. Good for her.

System Mastery 279 – Iron Kingdoms

This one is close to home, we both sorta like this game, used to play the wargame, and wish it all was still good. But times change. But hey, what do we think of this game now?

Announcement Mastery!
Branch Riders (which funded in eight hours already) is currently on Kickstarter!

Movie Mastery – Tower of Terror (1997)

Based on the Disney ride of the same name, this made for TV movie is desperately trying to not be scary. Or interesting.
