System Mastery 279 – Iron Kingdoms

Movie Mastery – Tower of Terror (1997)

Based on the Disney ride of the same name, this made for TV movie is desperately trying to not be scary. Or interesting.

Expounded Universe 281 – Rancor Ridin’ Dirty!

Okay, this one I remember. Our characters one by one begin to converge on Nal Hutta, the current homeworld of everyone’s favorite big slug gansgters. No one meets anyone else yet though. We’re saving that for sweeps.

Expounded Universe 280 – The Toxic Moxla Avenger

Okay, apparently I forgot to post this very important episode for a while and a half, between work trips and some ongoing medical drama, it just slipped my attention. I officially apologize. Also, I have no idea what happened in it. I don’t even know what a moxla is anymore. Some sort of venomous thing, I trust. Please enjoy!

Movie Mastery – Now You See Me (2014)

An otherwise decent heist movie that gets dragged down by some bad choices on CGI and presentation that could have easily been reworked.

System Mastery 278 – The Skeletons

Is it too late to call this a theme month? Because it turned out to be a theme month. Cool minimalist projects by designers we like. Weird! The Skeletons is a thoughtful game about playing as skeletons guarding a tomb, by Jason Morningstar.

Movie Mastery – Death Bed: The Bed That Eats

A 70’s horror film that was mostly forgotten because even with a premise that seems like it should be wildly memorable, the entire thing is about as interesting as someone describing paint drying.

System Mastery 277 – For The Queen

Who says we can’t do cool modern design reviews? Or interview the cool working designers of today that make them? Whoever said that, lemme at ’em!
