Tab Church Podcast

Listen in as John Close brings us the message this week. He talks about how Christ opens his own doors, open doors lead to open doors, walking through open doors requires faithful dependence on Jesus, and every open door is personal. This sermon also includes a special message from Amy Evers.

Join us as Paster Will preaches about clothing and the importance of not being a has-been, not being ashamed of the name, and don't forget to do your laundry. Be sure to listen to the sermon to find out what all these points mean!

We all need times when we press pause and reevaluate our life–literally, we need to re-value the things we prize: the way we invest our time and energy in pursuit of our deepest dreams. As we enter the summer season at Tab, the last book of the Bible, Revelation, will help us reevaluate our lives in light of the ultimate realities of heaven and eternity. In this 10-week sermon series, we will connect the lessons from Revelation to our 10 core values as a church as we ask the Holy Spirit to help us revalue the things in our lives for His glory.

Listen in as Paster Will talks about keeping secrets with God and how we should hold fast to Jesus, let go of idols, change directions before disaster, and enjoy secrecy with God.

Join in and listen as Dainel continues our sermon series in Revelation. In this sermon, he talks about how we should notice others, just like how Christ notices us, and how we should live out the gospel and let people see Christ in us. Do people see Christ in you?

This week Pastor Will takes us through Revelation 2

We all need times when we press pause and reevaluate our life–literally, we need to re-value the things we prize: the way we invest our time and energy in pursuit of our deepest dreams. As we enter the summer season at Tab, the last book of the Bible, Revelation, will help us reevaluate our lives in light of the ultimate realities of heaven and eternity. It's a tremendous thought to consider that God has a will for our lives! All that our lives are comprised of! His will isn't limited to these "big decisions" of life. His will permeates all our lives, even in the daily moments. His will extends from the church pew to the dining table. There is no greater joy than walking with the Lord and experiencing His good, pleasing, and perfect will. God's story can shape your home. God knows how to write a better story than we can even imagine. May His will be done in our homes even as it is in heaven.

Solomon was right. Life under the sun without Christ is futile. But life isn't limited to life under the sun. Jesus won the victory of God through the cross, and His kingdom will one day reclaim every square inch of this futile world, even as it ushers in a new heaven and earth.

Solomon hasn't said it because he didn't have the words, but he's reminded us of our need for God's grace. His unmerited and unearned favor over our lives. There is a riddle to life that will remain. Why do bad things happen to good people? I don't know because I'm not sure how we qualify "good." I know that I tend to fluctuate between self-righteousness and wickedness. Am I a good person? I'm not sure. But I am sure that I'm God's person, because He's covered me with His grace. I want to live for Him with the Holy Spirit's help, because He is good, and the eternal life I will spend with Him reminds me that life isn't limited to life under the sun. I trust Him to work all things for His glory and my good.
