Tabernacle Baptist Church

Jesus knew that our inward attitudes were just as important as our outward actions. In these three chapters, Jesus tells those around Him what living a life devoted to following God looks like.

Jesus alone is God. We should listen to Him and take the truth about Him wherever we go.

1. What does God reveal about Himself?

That Jesus is exclusive

2. What does God reveal about us?

We need to Listen to Jesus

3. What does God want you to take down the mountain?

Take the Truth of Jesus with you

Because the God of Christianity is the one and true God we must trust in Him over and above all things that try and compete for His place in our life.

Our Mothers do so much for us, but one of the most important things they do is to teach us. Yes, they provide things to us, but they also shape who we are and who we will become. Mothers are best honored when we remember their teaching.

Message Notes:

1. Mothers, Teach Your Children to Fear God

2. Remember What Your Mother Taught You

This week we look at the encounter Moses had with God on Mount Sinai. When we read this story, we usually think about the 10 Commandments but there is so much more there for Christians to learn from today. God is Holy and we are not but He has made us a way to come into His presence through Christ.

1. God is Holy

2. We are Not Worthy

3. The 10 Commandments

4. Consecrate Yourselves

Genesis 22:1-18/ April 28, 2019 / Dr. Todd Gray**

God will Provide; what He expects from you is trust and obedience.

Message Notes:

1. Trust in God as Provider

2. Trust and Obey

3. Take the Trust you Have in God’s Provision and Share it With Others

The Resurrection is a powerful force of hope that offers peace, a path to follow and purpose.

Message Notes:

1. Receive the Hope for Peace

2. Hope of a Shepherd

3. Hope for a Purpose

No matter how much we think we know about a person, we probably make a lot of wrong conclusions. It may not even be an intentional choice, but sometimes we might pass somebody over because they are very different than us. But you never know who God has been speaking to and who might be waiting for you to start a conversation with them.

Message Notes:

1. Don’t Be Surprised at God’s Command to Go to Just One

2. Obey God’s Call to Go

3. Trust God to Prepare the Heart

4. Trust God with the Results

Luke 16:19-31 / April 07, 2019/ Dr. Todd Gray **

Are there consequences of not reaching one? Of course, Hell is a real place where people who don’t know Jesus will spend the rest of eternity.

Message Notes:

2. Hell is Eternal

3. Hell is a Place of Agony

4. Hell is Isolation

5. Good Intentions are in Hell
