  • On different ways to gain exposure ft. Sonus de Gaia
Greetings and join us in the second part of understanding music of the earth with King Sing and Falk. This time we will talk about their favorite performance, creative strategies to gain more exposure and journey of producing their recent album.
The band 大地之歌 (Sonus de Gaia) was founded in 2016 by Taiwanese guitarist King Sing, who invited José to Taiwan to continue promoting intercultural music. Through their collaborative research on Spanish and Taiwanese traditional music, they shared insights and poured their energy into composition. In their first album, the band collaborated with excellent contemporary musicians and indigenous musicians from various countries, using music as a medium for dialogue. The album integrates multiple languages, such as Holo, Spanish, Celtic, Amis, Kavalan, Paiwan, Seediq, Sanskrit, English, and more. Through ensemble performance, observation, and exchange, the band brings the spirit of "intercultural music" to its fullest expression. In 2024, they released their second album - Luminous Echoes.
Sonus de Gaia presents Gaia Formosa: Where intercultural fusion and ancestral traditions come together in harmony with nature. Embarking upon an unprecedented musical journey, beyond borders, to send a message of consciousness and connection with the cosmos, with mother earth Gaia and with our inner self.

  • Playing with people is the whole purpose: Urban Fungus
Tune into the second part of interviewing Urban Fungus! In this one, we will be covering his songwriting inspiration, how a song comes to life, his attitude towards making music and potential future plans for Bouzouki dub.
Urban Fungus aka Petr Danda is a Czech architect and musician interested in psychedelic music.
His main project, in a classic band formation, could be labeled as hazy, sun-infused psychedelic rock, and combines introspective songwriting with fuzzy clouds full of reverb & delays. In late 2024, he released his first single Come Along, followed up by the EP One More Pill. With his Czech bandmates, he plans to record an album in the summer.
His side project, labeled Bouzouki Dub, is inspired by Near, Middle & Far Eastern traditional and contemporary music: Oriental and psychedelic melodies strummed on a traditional greek instrument - the Bouzouki - plugged in through a vast array of guitar pedals and accompanied by dubby electronic drums and heavy bass. An electronic music aesthetic that could probably be heard in ancient temple parties, well probably.
