These boys talk about their experience hiking with dad and his crew, issues they came across, other hikes they would love to do, their own trail names and any animal they would be out in the wilderness.     Take a listen to Jaime and Tony's hiking experience up to Mount Whitney. This is Jaime's first time and Tony's second time hiking Mt. Whitney. Mt. Whitney is 14,505 feet high, which is the highest peak in the 48 states! They are joined by two buddies, Chuck and Paul.  One of them develops AMS (acute mountain sickness or altitude sickness) and does not make it to the Summit. Someone shares their spiritual feeling at the top. Jaime enjoys her skittles in her tent and shares her experience using a "WAG" bag. If you don't know what it is, you will have to listen. They share their advice on preparing for Mt. Whitney. They talk about upcoming exciting things for Hike It Off. They are an inspiration to the hiking community and I am so blessed that they are sharing it with me! We have great laughs and share a nice libation while podcasting!

I got bad altitude sickness. The group was very supportive and encouraging me every step of the way. This crew is amazing and I would hike with them again. Amazing views at the the top!   • First adventure with my 8 mo. old German Shephard, Mando!
    Mando is an 8 month old long hair, German Shephard. This is his first time away from home. We camp at Fry's Creek Campground, located in Palomar Mountain, San Diego, California. Eddie helps us set up camp. I did not know what to expect or how long we were going to camp. It was about 85 degrees, with a nice breeze and shaded pine trees. Mando and I  meet a young couple.  And, actually, the girl happened to be a sister of someone I  follow on Instagram. It's a small world after all! They saved me with a lighter! Thank you! I know I took one! Eddie and I have a discussion about my capabilities on how to pitch a tent, and I know how!!! For the record, I never asked Eddie to come help me, he offered!

  • Where the Bison Roam: Catalina Island Camping/Hiking trip
    My good hiking buddy, Ed Carlin, talks about his camping/hiking experience to Catalina Island. Two Harbors to Parsons Landing, just a little over 8 miles. They celebrate with some Bison burgers and a cold beer! Listen while we have a good time talking shit,  having a nice cold beer. We reminisce about how we meet up again years later on the trail and now doing a F'N podcast! He talks about how he planned and prepared on his guy only trip to Catalina Island.  He shares this experience with his two sons, Eddie and Andrew, his step dad, Mike, and his brother, Vince.
