Most of the policyholders do not know about this, and probably some adjusters also. But you must know all of these limits because you make sure that insurance companies are aware that they stick to these deadlines.

These are statutes! These are laws that have been written to keep insurance companies under control, so they don't forget about your claim, underpay your claim, or do anything that they are not supposed to do!

Therefore, I think as a public adjuster one of the more important things is to hold the insurance companies accountable to these limits!

The fact that we have these limits, we need to take advantage of them! We can notify the state, we can file Civil Remedy Notice, etc.

Disclaimer: These limits are strictly related to Florida. Most states got their own limits, Texas got its own limits, and California does too. But not all of them. Make sure you pay attention to your state.
