Today, we delve into a powerful message about spiritual warfare and the urgency for Christians to stand firm against the forces of evil in our world. Our foundational scripture comes from Matthew 11:12:
"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." - Matthew 11:12 (NKJV)
1. Ephesians 6:12
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
2. 1 Peter 5:8-9
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world."
3. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
4. James 4:7
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
5. Romans 12:21
"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
6. 1 Timothy 6:12
“ Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses."

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

"Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle."

"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD."

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it."

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

"Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."
14. Hebrews 12:1-2
"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
