Why do we hesitate to fully believe in ourselves? In this episode, I explore the real reasons we avoid taking ourselves seriously—often without even realizing it. When we don’t know what we’re capable of yet, avoiding the effort can feel safer than risking disappointment. It’s easier to joke about a dream than to try for it and fall short. But the truth is, the confidence and fulfillment we’re chasing don’t come from one big moment—they’re built through consistency over time.

I also reflect on the idea that we are often the biggest obstacle between where we are and where we want to be. Commitment can feel intimidating—whether it’s committing to a new job, a relationship, a breakup, or an entirely new season of life. But avoiding commitment doesn’t protect us; it keeps us stuck. Growth happens when we choose to lean in instead of backing away.

This episode is a reminder to respect yourself enough to follow through on the promises you make to yourself. Why do we show up so easily when others tell us what to do, yet struggle to honor our own intentions? Talking about what you want isn’t enough—action is what reveals how far you can actually go.
