Holly’s case has switched hands between at least five investigators since her death in 2014. Lacking confidence that the case will be solved, her family has sought help through the Coleman-Baker Act to reexamine Holly’s homicide.

The Times presents the second season of "Taken Too Soon," a gripping podcast series delving into the unsolved cold cases of Hall County.

Season two focuses on the tragic and mysterious case of Holly Fox Strickland, a young mother who went missing in 2014. Days later, her body was found in the backyard of her home.

Her shooter remains at large, leaving her family and the community yearning for answers.

Roughly 40 people gathered on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Memorial Park Cemetery to honor Elaine Nix, who was found dead 25 years ago in Buford. Jennifer Boyd, Elaine’s best friend, led family and friends in sharing memories of their time with Elaine. The teenager’s loved ones are determined that this will be the year that justice is served.
