Hi Gemstones! Julie and Nick are on their own this week, Emma is off taking care of our takes baby! Yay Emma! We miss her terribly, but comforted ourselves with talk of the most beautiful, sad episode of a mushroom zombie show EVER! Julie watched the "comedy" You People, while Nick continued his downward spiral by checking out Suits. There are many tweets to be had and a quick game of Heads Up!

Hope you had a great week and thanks so much for listening!

We're still on baby watch, but had time for some terrifying tv!  The fungus amongus on The Last of Us is still searing in our brains. Luckily the palette cleanser known as the Traitors has us learning to count and feeling smug! Nick continues his rewatch of the Bold Type and gives us the low down from down under at the Australian open. We discuss the snatch game from RuPaul and the real "friends" of Weho, and play a round of Blank Slate (with a surprise winner!) The Cotter's giggles are in full effect. Thanks so much for listening!

There is a whole range of terrifying television that we’ve been watching - from the very good but scary Last of Us to the super cringey Milf Manor and the confounding Real Friends of WeHo promos. Nick’s also back on a captivating wellness journey and we’ve got a new game - courtesy of Nick Jonas somehow.

We’re starting 2023 with a bit of a regression, but not letting it get us down or stop our flow. Luckily, Glass Onion was a genuinely delightful film we all enjoyed this week and spoiled (sort of) in this episode. Julie also watched Top Gun Maverick and reveals the winner of our tweet of 2022 bracket and Nick is wearing just enough clothing for recording comfort.

Happy New Year Gemstones! Before we take on 2023, we do our best to remember all the amazing television of 2022 - and there really was a lot! Pachinko and Severance were stand outs, Attorney Woo stole our hearts, Nick discovered Boy Love and Claire Danes does a lot with the one face. Reminisce with us, (feel free to correct our perception of time), and if you’re looking for something to watch this holiday weekend - we’ve got ideas!

We considered taking a break for the holidays, but we had to jump on for a lil bit to talk about the Survivor 43 finale, other random nonsense, and this week’s top tweets. Enjoy a mini-sode and have a safe and sparkly holiday time!

The party in Sicily is over (for some) but we’re excited to root around in the aftermath of this amazing season of White Lotus. We also get ready for the finale of the current season of Survivor, reminisce on Mike White’s season of Survivor and take a peek at what Twitter has told Nick about the forthcoming Last of Us on HBO. Nick also starts a rumor that MILF Island (as joked on 30 Rock) might become a reality, so the future is looking…bright?
