A journal format episode where we go through and unpack a *little* bit of what my journey with creating an instagram account solely for my healing looked like. We read through my thoughts, unpack some of them, and overall look back at times of darkness, strength, hope, failure and success.

In this episode we talk about eating disorders and suicide, it's not an easy story to listen to but if there is one thing you get out of this is, you matter.

I've been going on a downwards spiral and felt like I needed to get some of these thoughts, doubts, questions off my chest. What is our relationship to social media like? Do we really understand our responsibility that comes with having a platform? Why do we find so much fulfillment from others consumption of our content? Are we part of the toxicity that exists on the internet? Have metrics taken over our sense of belonging? Why do we forget that the numbers on our devices are actually human beings? How can we stay true to who we are when we are always creating a strategic script of what we want to show and who we want to be seen as?

See, I told you, this is a very existential episode and one I invite you to be part of, I really want us, as creators, to question our intentions and maybe some of these questions will unearth some thoughts and doubts of your own.

Of course my co-host Meijun is here to join me in this adventure down the rabbit hole of my existential thoughts.

We've been dating for 6 years now and so much has happened in our lives, 2 years ago we moved to Ecuador, started TWO businesses together and everything changed, really. During the pandemic we admitted to ourselves that we needed help, we needed to go to couples therapy if we wanted to be a better individuals who want to live life together.

We responded to 17 questions and spilled all the vulnerable tea we had.

In February 2019, we landed in Seattle for 12 days, with one objective: Figure out if we could make a life outside of New York.
