Wondering how to finally stop doomscrolling? I think this can be more simple than you might think! But that doesn't mean necessarily easy. In order to stop doomscrolling I suggest trying things you've never tried before including completely shifting the way that you've existed on social media up to this point.

Is social media a necessity in business today? I have my friend Shelby Clement on the show today talking all things social media and business, the possibility, the drawbacks and everything in between.

Social media has sold us on these lies that keep us there. I'm bringing up the most common ones that I hear in my 6 years of conversing with people about the role social media plays in their life.

We're constantly being bombarded with things we should do, say, be you name it!

But what often is the quietest voice(our own) can be hard to recognize and even hear in the first place when we're so plugged in.

This is a friendly reminder to tune into you before the rest of the world(including me!) because you know better for you than what you might be giving yourself credit for!

I'm not naive..I know social media isn't going anywhere. How can we meet people where they're at in order to really help them see the impact social media is having, but also show them that there's another way to go about existing, or not existing there?

I'm brain dumping(again) but i'm really trying to figure out how to help people and reach the ones who have no clue there are resources and other people out there who are living offline and choosing to forge a better way forward with their social media.

Our phones. Devices in general. The constant need to be plugged in the addiction to distraction the addiction to a screen to stimulation to information.  We’re so connected to our screens, we don’t go anywhere without them, we’re reliant on them and for good reason a lot of the time.
