If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re just going through the motions of your life… this episode is for you.
In today’s conversation, I’m sharing how shifting my mindset toward intentional positivity helped me break out of survival mode and start reconnecting with what actually brings me joy. And no, this isn’t about toxic positivity—it’s about understanding how your brain works, why negativity feels so natural, and how to slowly retrain your mind to see what’s good again.
We’re diving into the science behind positivity, including negativity bias and neuroplasticity, and how joy can actually fuel your growth, creativity, and dreams.
I also walk you through five simple, realistic steps you can start using today to incorporate more positivity into your life—without forcing it or faking it.
Because the truth is: you don’t build your dream life from burnout and survival mode. You build it from alignment, energy, and the small moments that remind you what it feels like to be you again.
And before we wrap, I’m sharing something really special—my debut novel is coming out on April 22nd, and you can download the first chapter now using the link in the show notes.
This episode is a little more honest, a little more vulnerable… and very real.
We’re talking about manifestation; but not the Pinterest version. The version where life is hard, things aren’t going according to plan, and you’re still trying to believe in the life you say you want.
Because manifestation isn’t just wishing and hoping. It’s having a clear vision, believing in yourself (even when it feels delusional), and continuing to take aligned action… even when everything around you feels uncertain.
In this episode, I talk about:
If you’ve been feeling stuck, discouraged, or like things just aren’t working… this one is for you.
✨ Let’s manifest together: not perfectly, but honestly.
Spring is here—and if you’ve been feeling behind, unmotivated, or like you “wasted” the first few months of the year… this episode is your reset.
In this episode, I’m breaking down why you didn’t fail—you were just in winter. We’re talking about seasonal energy, giving yourself grace, and how to step into spring without overwhelming yourself.
This isn’t about becoming a whole new person overnight. It’s about gently waking back up and reconnecting with what you actually want.
I’ll also walk you through a soft spring reset you can do right now—no pressure, no perfection, just intention.
If you’ve been needing a fresh start that actually feels good… this is it.
What does it actually feel like to go after a dream you've had your entire life?
In today’s episode of Taking Up Space with Jordan, I’m talking about something incredibly personal: the moment I finally took the leap and sent my first novel to beta readers.
Writing a book has been a dream of mine since I was a kid, but for years I kept that dream quiet because I was afraid of what people might think. What if it wasn’t good enough? What if people hated it? What if I failed?
In this episode, I share the emotional reality of chasing your dreams — the fear, the excitement, the anxiety, and the pride that comes with finally doing the thing you've always wanted to do.
I also talk about the inspiration behind my debut novel All Parts of Me, a slow-burn romance set in Seattle that explores healing, vulnerability, female friendship, and the idea that we’re all made up of different parts of ourselves.
If you've been sitting on a dream — whether it's writing a book, starting a business, creating art, or changing your life — consider this your sign to start.
Even if you're scared.
Even if you don't know what you're doing.
Even if you're afraid you might fail.
Because sometimes the scariest thing isn't chasing your dream…
It's never trying at all.

In today’s episode of Taking Up Space with Jordan, I’m talking about something that can feel really complicated right now: joy.
There was a time in my life where I felt like I had no joy, no whimsy, and no real purpose. I was just going through the motions. Starting this podcast was actually one of the ways I tried to push myself out of that place and start building a life that felt more intentional and fulfilling.
But lately I’ve been sitting with a different tension: how do we allow ourselves to experience joy when the world feels chaotic, overwhelming, and honestly… pretty heartbreaking at times?
In this episode, I’m talking about how we can hold multiple emotions at once. You can feel anger, sadness, and frustration about what’s happening around you while still allowing yourself to laugh, rest, and experience moments of joy.
I also break down why joy isn’t just something nice to have — it’s actually essential for our mental health, our creativity, and our ability to keep showing up for the things that matter. I share a little bit of the science behind joy, why women often feel guilty prioritizing themselves, and how small joyful moments can actually help regulate our brains and improve our focus.
Most importantly, I walk you through simple ways you can start bringing more joy into your life right now, including:
• Why joy should be one of your top priorities
• How taking breaks and doing joyful activities can improve your focus
• Letting go of the idea that your hobbies need to be impressive
• Three small ways to start creating joyful routines in your daily life
Because even when the world feels heavy, you still deserve moments that make you feel alive.
So wherever you are today, I hope this episode reminds you to protect your joy and keep taking up space.

Last week we celebrated 100 episodes of Taking Up Space (what?!), and in that episode I briefly mentioned something that has completely changed how I move through life: building your personal Board of Directors.
In this episode, I’m breaking that concept down.
We’re talking about:
Why you shouldn’t be making major life decisions alone
The power of intentionally choosing who gets a seat at your “table”
How to build a circle that supports your growth instead of shrinking you
What to do when your current circle doesn’t align with where you’re headed
Plus, I share a personal moment of joy about leaning on community (and why asking for support is not weakness).
If you’ve been trying to build your dream life but feel like you’re doing it solo… this episode is your reminder: you don’t need to.
You need your board.
We made it to 100.
And in true Jordan fashion, I celebrated… then called myself a loser… then celebrated again.
In this very special milestone episode, I’m taking you back to where it all began: my very first Glow Up Checklist! And looking at what actually changed my life, what still holds up, and what I’d add now after two years of becoming her in real time.
We’re talking about:
✨ why confidence, skincare, fitness & boundaries are all connected✨ how affirmations became my version of prayer✨ the power of building a “board of directors” who let you fail✨ learning what YOU actually want (not what works for someone on TikTok)✨ and why healing sometimes looks like coloring, Disney movies, and ice cream for dinner
This episode is honest, emotional, a little chaotic, and the truest snapshot of what building a dream life really looks like.
I started this podcast to inspire women to go after more and today is proof that small, consistent steps add up.

Change can feel terrifying when you don’t believe you can handle what comes next.
In this episode, Jordan opens up about navigating a season filled with transitions, uncertainty, and big life shifts — and why, for the first time, she isn’t spiraling. The difference? Self-trust.
We talk about how learning to trust yourself changes the way you experience endings, new beginnings, and everything in between. Jordan shares how therapy, daily promises to herself, and emotional maturity helped her move from survival mode into steadiness.
If you are walking through change right now — in your career, relationships, identity, or dreams — this conversation will remind you that you are not behind… you are becoming.
You are more capable than you think. And you can trust the woman you’re turning into.

We’re talking about something that doesn’t get enough space in personal growth conversations: fun.
In this short and sweet episode, I’m unpacking what it looks like to step out of constant productivity mode and intentionally choose joy — even when you’re ambitious, driven, and used to always working toward the next thing.
This episode is about giving yourself permission to enjoy life now, not after you’ve “earned it.” If you’ve been feeling burnt out, stuck in grind mode, or disconnected from play, this is your sign to rethink what this season is really asking of you.
Let this be your reminder: fun is not a distraction — it’s part of building a life that actually feels good.
Your inner critic has opinions: about your dreams, your timeline, your worth, and every mistake you’ve ever made.
In this episode, we’re talking about that voice. The one that shows up right when you’re about to do something brave. The one that keeps receipts on your failures and loves to speak up at the worst possible moments.
I’m breaking down how to identify your inner critic, why it changes voices over time, and how to stop fighting it long enough to actually work with it. We’ll talk reparenting, nervous system regulation, self-trust, and the small practices that help you keep moving toward your dream life, even when doubt gets loud.
Because the goal isn’t to silence your inner critic forever.
It’s to stop letting her run the show.
