Tale of the Lion King debuted at the Disneyland Resort on the Paradise Bay Stage in Summer of 2019. After the pandemic closure, the show was restaged for the Fantasyland Theatre and debuted May 2022. Its last day is scheduled for January 7th, 2024.

This recording includes nearly 20 minutes of pre-show music plus the full show from the Fantasyland Theatre.
