This week I selected some music I personally enjoy. I will also play you two TalentCast newcomers, both are from Barcelona, and, as usual, you will hear the new Song of the Week too. Last week the votes mainly came in for a musician and full-time airline pilot from Vancouver, Canada. For our regular listeners: After this week I will only bring you four new editions of TalentCast before the summer break. This year the summer break will start a month earlier than usual, because I have a lot of maintenance to do, and I hope there will also be some time left to enjoy the summer. This time I start the programme in Barcelona with the first newcomer to TalentCast.

I have made a varied programme for you. I will play some mellow tunes, some singer-songwriters, some jazz, some rock and I will end with an instrumental piece. A three-piece band from the UK joined TalentCast last week. You will hear them later in the programme, directly after the new Song of the Week. I liked the voting of last week. Quite many votes came in for four of the songs I played. Just one can win, and in about half an hour you will hear which song it is.

I have two TalentCast newcomers for you this time, although the first one will not be completely new to you. It's the singer of a band I have played several times before. And yes, also this week we have a Song of the Week. You will hear who won in about twenty minutes. In the first part of the programme I will play you peaceful and relaxed music. In rest of the programme I will play mainly classic rock and rock 'n roll. I start with the singer I have just explained. Maybe you will recognize her soulful voice.
