The music styles differ a lot today and vary from singer-songwriter, country, jazz, funk to improvisation, rock and electronic. No newcomers this time. Although three musicians joined last week, we didn't have their music at the moment of recording. Gladly we still have some new very good indie music from artists we have played before, so no reason not to tune in again. We start with a brand new funky song from a New Zealand artist.

In this programme I will play music from some of the artists I particularly, two newcomers (a four-piece band from New York City and a singer-songwriter from Greece), the new Song of the Week (for the first time a song in the Dutch language) and more good independent music.

This is the first programme for 2017. We wish you all a good, healthy and of course musical 2017. We wish our artists also a lot of inspiration for new music and songs. I start the new year with a programme, solely filled with relaxed music, quite many artists are from the Netherlands and two of the songs are in the Dutch language. I will play one TalentCast newcomer, quite a few new songs we have received recently and some album tracks. In less than 20 minutes I will play this week's Song of the Week winner.

Just one day and a half to go in 2016, so this is the last edition of TalentCast for this year. Today I will play two newcomers to TalentCast (one from Ukraine and one from Idaho, US), some album tracks and more interesting independent music. The music styles vary a lot this week. I will play easy listening, singer-songwriter, folk, country, rock, pop, some punk and more. Because I was ill last week, there was no programme. Today you will hear who won the Song of the Week voting two weeks ago. We wish you a nice New Year’s Eve and a musical 2017.

I have the flu for some days already. It was not easy, but I managed to record a new programme for this week. In this week’s edition I will mainly play you relaxed music. We will end with hip-hop from New Zealand and start with a mix of rock, ska and Latin rhythms by a band from Chile. I will also announce some upcoming shows you might like to visit. We have a clear Song of the Week winner this week, an artist who had not won before. His fans supported him with an avalanche of votes. You will hear who that is some time half way the programme.

This week I have a special newcomer to TalentCast, for the first time I am going to play a song from Mongolia. Just like last week I will play relaxed music in the first half of the programme. The second half of the programme is for the fans of rock. We have a convincing Song of the Week winner. You will hear who won somewhere halfway through the programme. The programme ends in South Korea with a trio who describes themselves as a hard'n'loud rock band. The first song I will play for you is by a singer-songwriter from the UK.

This week the programme is quite varied. We will start off with peaceful tunes and a little bit later on I’m going to play some louder rock. I will also play one newcomer to TalentCast. Sometimes I like our newcomers and sometimes I like them a lot, like this week. I will start the programme in the same country where I will end it, in Canada. The last song is by a progressive hard rock band. The first song is by a folk band.

In this programme we will play one newcomer to TalentCast, some new songs from artists we have played before, some album tracks and of course our new Song of the Week winner. Like always we travel around the world for the best independent music. This week we will end with a five-piece alternative rock band from Romania and start with a singer-songwriter from the Netherlands.

Last week we welcomed three newcomers to TalentCast, of course you will hear them today, together with many other interesting independent artists. Like every week we tour all around the globe and select interesting music from many different countries. This week we will end the programme where we start it, in the United Kingdom. Last week many people (almost 200) came to our website to vote. One song got by far the most votes. We will play it for you some time half way through the programme. If there is also this week a song you like the most, welcome to vote for it before Tuesday, November 22.
