This week I will play a bit more uptempo music than I have been playing for the past weeks. I am in the mood for something faster. Last week we got three new members, at the moment of recording just one of them sent us music. You will also hear about some upcoming events this week, and of course I will tell you who entered this week's Charts Top 3. Last week's voting was a nice one again, because until the last moment we weren't sure about who would win. Two hours before the end of the voting the last vote came in and the number two ended with just one vote less than the number one.

I got some new songs last week and selected some nice album tracks for you. I will also announce a few upcoming shows and our listeners decided as usual about this week's Song of the Week winner. I will play the winning song towards the end of the programme.

This week I will play one newcomer to TalentCast, some new songs I have received recently, quite some album tracks and of course the new Song of the Week winner, who gathered quite a lot of votes.

At first I will play songs in different genres from different parts of the world and the last 15 minutes are reserved for the lovers of rock. You will also hear some artists who I have played recently. That is because I got some new songs from them. Like last week, also this week the votes of the numbers one and two in the charts were close until the last hours of the voting. Who won? You will find out in about 25 minutes!

This week I will play a track from a brand new album from France and over one-third of the artists today are from the Netherlands. I will also tell you about some shows for the upcoming days and of course I will play the new Song of the Week winner. The voting was nice last week, about a hundred people people came to our website to vote and until the last hours we where not sure who would win this week. You will hear who won in about 20 minutes. It's a bit over a year since we got the very sad news that Joyce Dijkgraaf passed away at the age of 30 as a result of a car accident. Of course we will never forget Joyce. The first song of today is by Joyce together with her band Sarah's Blue Dress.

For the past few weeks I have mostly played relaxed and peaceful music. Today’s programme has more varied genres. I will play a solo artist and a band who have joined TalentCast this week, some musicians and bands who will play on an event soon, quite some songs are in a different language than English – and, like every week, I will play this week's Song of the Week winner. Previous weeks, votes often mainly came in for just one artist. This week more artists got quite some votes. The weather is still warm and sunny over here in The Netherlands. I will start the programme with a suitable song by today’s first newcomer. Perhaps our regular listeners will recognize the voice of this singer.

After finishing the playlist for this week I realized that it was again mainly peaceful music. I didn't do that on purpose, it's just the kind of music I am in the mood for at the moment. There are no newcomers this week, but we have some new songs, interesting album tracks and again a convincing Song of the Week winner.

Halfway September and it's over 30 degrees here in the Netherlands, crazy. I am boiling in the studio without air conditioning, and it is a good reason to play some songs suitable for hot weather. More people have been visiting the website since the updates and some more artists and bands have joined TalentCast. Today I will play one band and one solo artist for the first time. You will also hear some artists who are performing live this week, a lot of other independent artists and of course the Song of the Week winner, who is a clear winner again. We had a very nice voting last week and it wasn't easy to enter this week's top 3. Thank you to all who have voted. We hope you will also this week find a song you like the most and vote for it. We start the programme with the first newcomer to TalentCast.

We have a nice and long playlist for you this week, 15 songs – two came from artists who joined TalentCast last week and the rest are songs by artists we have played before and some of these songs are new. We also have our first Song of the Week winner for this season, but we start the programme with a singer-songwriter from the UK.

TalentCast's summer break is over. It’s good to be back and make radio again. As you might have noticed, during the summer break Johan has worked on the website. Now it looks a bit different and it works fine on all mobile devices, it's easier to post events and we have a little forum. We hope you will come to write on the forum, because we would like to have more interaction with our artists and with you, the listeners. During the summer we received some new songs and Johan even recorded one. Two of the songs in the programme of today are by artists who joined TalentCast this summer.
