Last week you could listen to the first program after our summer break. If you were among our listeners: Thank you for tuning in! We got some nice comments after that show, so it feels good to be back again. Quite many people voted last week. A singer-songwriter gathered the most votes. Somewhere halfway the program you will hear who won. Just like last week we will play a lot of new songs. One of these is by a new member, a solo artist from Austria.

TalentCast is back! We had a warm and sunny summer and we hope you did too. On August the 12th we had our 8th anniversary, so this is already the 9th season in which you can listen to our weekly radio program. Welcome to the last edition for this season. Just in the last moment a newcomer joined TalentCast. It's an act from my home town Groningen. You will hear it today. A lot of relaxed music in the program, but I will end with some rock. Of course we play the Song of the Week. It is a happy song this time. You will only listen to two more TalentCast programmes before our summer break. Next Friday we will bring you the last edition before the summer. But after that we will still meet one more time before our summer break begins: on Sunday the 28th we still will host our sixth album listening session. This time we will host a band from London, The Crocked Monsieurs. You will find more details on our "Album listening session" page. Today the music is rather peaceful and we play quite some songs from Switzerland. That is not on purpose. It is just a coincidence. We start with a new song from a singer-songwriter from Amsterdam.

The first three songs we will play today are by artists who have some exciting events coming up. Two singer-songwriters have upcoming live shows and one band will share their debut album with you in our sixth album listening session. This album listening session will take place on Sunday, June the 28th. We will host "Borderin The Trainline", the debut album of The Crocked Monsieurs. They are a London based band, formed by Colin Batters and Chris Howard. Their aim is to bring quality music to the more discerning listener. The music in this week's program is rather peaceful and of course also this week we will play our Song of the Week winner, which was voted by our listeners of last week.

The weather is getting better and warmer in the Netherlands and slowly we are moving towards our summer break. After today's program we will make only 3 programs for this season and we will still host 1 album listening session. Soon we will inform you about that. Also today we will play music from many different parts of the world. We will start not too far from home, in Wales.

There are many artists in this program I really enjoy. I hope you will like the music as much as I do. There are 15 songs on the playlist in again a rather big variety of music styles: country, jazz, rock, easy listening, alternative and more. The new Song of the Week winner gathered far out the most votes. I will tell you who won towards the end of the program.

We have again compiled a nice program for you this week. We will play music from Finland, Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Greece, United States, Canada and Australia. The genres vary from easy listening to rock. We have a clear Song of the Week winner again. The winning song gathered twice as many votes as the number 2. You will hear who won last week's competition in about 40 minutes. One newcomer joined TalentCast this week, although our regular listeners might recognize the singer of the band. We start the program relaxed with some very nice jazzy tunes.

Last week's voting was a Finish battle between a band from Kuopio and a composer from Espoo. Both songs ended with just 1 vote difference. Towards the end of the program you will hear who won. One newcomer has joined TalentCast this week and we have also got some new songs from artists we have played before. If you like rock 'n' roll, stay tuned till the end, because the last songs are especially for you. Like usual we start the program peaceful, this week with an artist form the US who was born in Poland.

Today we have 14 songs in the program. We play music from UK, US, Germany, Poland and Finland and of course the Song of the Week winner. The real winning song of course, not the song that got very many votes from just one person. Of course we again play a nice mix of different genres, like singer-songwriter, electronic, pop and rock.
