Today I am going to play 14 songs. One of these is by an artist from Germany who will be played on TalentCast for the first time. Again I will play some songs from albums I really enjoy and of course I will play our Song of the Week winner. It was not too easy to win this week, because again quite many people came to our website talentcast.nl to vote.

Today we have one newcomer for you. It is an artist from the Russian Federation. Last week many people came to our website to vote and we have a clear Song of the Week winner. Somewhere halfway the program you will hear who it is. We start with a track from a beautiful album titled "The Dream" by a jazz singer and composer from Australia.

This week we play 3 newcomers to TalentCast, some new songs from artists we have played before and of course the Song of the Week winner who gathered far out the most votes. Usually we start the program peacefully and play the louder songs later. This time we will do it the other way around. We will start the program loud and end it peacefully. We are happy with the playlist of this week and we hope you too.

Some new artists and bands have joined TalentCast and sent their music to TalentCast recently. Today you will hear 4 newcomers and we will play some new songs from artists we have played before. I will also play two songs from two of my favourite albums.

We had a nice voting round last week, 75 people voted and we have a clear winner. You will hear some new songs from artists we have played before and we will play one newcomer to TalentCast for you. We start the program of this week in New Zealand.

Quite a lot is changing in TalentCast at the moment. Since last week we have been on the app of Player FM. We are also broadcast on one more FM radio station, Deventer Radio. This week we have changed our website to make is easier for new members to join and to add support for a 5th platform: From now on artists can also register on TalentCast with their Bandcamp profiles. Our last voting was rather quiet, but of course we have a winner. Somewhere halfway through the program you will find out who it is.

As you might have noticed if you follow us on social media, TalentCast is now also broadcast on Deventer Radio. One of our artists, Martin van de Vrugt, who works at Deventer Radio, introduced us. Thank you for inviting us, Martin! From now on, we are proudly present on 2 FM radio stations and 2 internet radio stations. And some more news: if you use Player FM, since last week you can also listen to us via their app. From the duo Laïxa from France, we got a nice surprise, a new jingle. Thank you, Chris and Paméla.

First of all: We wish you a happy, healthy and musical 2015. Lately we have contacted some of our artists and bands to invite them to upload their newest songs to TalentCast. Some of them sent us some new music in response, and I played some of those new songs 2 weeks ago. But we got even more music than we played in that program and today we will play more. We start 2015 with only good news: 1. TalentCast is now also on the Player FM app. 2. From now on, we will be broadcast on 2 FM/cable radio stations. Starting this week our program will also be broadcast on Deventer RTV. We are on air every Friday evening between 21:00 and 22:00 (CET). We are also on Ede FM at the same time. 3. Next Sunday, January the 4th we will host our 5th album listening session. Also this time, it will be an open session. You are invited to become one of the first people to hear the second full album (titled "North Sea") of the Canadian band Ophelia Syndrome.

On December the 26th there will be no new edition of TalentCast, so this is our last program this year. This is why there is something extra in it for the artist or band who wins this week's voting round. We will feature the winner not 1, but 2 weeks on the main page of our website. So, artists, this is an extra reason to gather as many votes as you can. We also have some news: On January the 4th we will host our 5th album listening session. Again, it will be an open listening session. You are invited to become one of the first people in the world to hear the second full album of the Canadian band Ophelia Syndrome. The album is titled North Sea. You will find all the details on our album listening session page on this website. Last week we contacted some of our artists and bands to invite them to upload their newest songs to TalentCast. Some of them sent us some new music in response.
