She betrayed hundreds of people to the Nazis leading to their deportation to the concentration camps in order to save herself. Difficult moral dilemma, but her bosses all said that she enjoyed her work, and the more praise she got the harder she worked.

This episode looks at the crimes of Peter Moore, a gay man who committed four murders and a wave of vicious assaults in North Wales in the 1990s. He is often said to be Wales' worst serial killer and was known as The Man in Black. His crimes were sufficient to earn him a whole life tariff, meaning he'll die in prison.

They reached great heights in the far right world, but then had spectacular falls from grace once their homosexuality had been revealed. The episode also examines the relationship between the far right and homosexuality.

William Bankes had the early 19th century world at his feet until an indiscretion with a young guardsman led to his fall from grace. With the threat of the noose hanging over him, he had little choice but to flee to Europe in a self imposed exile leaving his family and life's work behind him.

The National Archives holds the records for Bankes' 1841 arrest.

The Dorset History Centre holds the Bankes and Kingston Lacey archives.
