The royal train finds itself short of supplies.

A Sheffield jewellers is robbed, and two accomplices attempt to make their escape by train.

It’s 1919 and the government want to reduce railway workers wages to pre-First World War levels. A strike follows and the Sheffield Independent’s female reporter is sent to tell its story.
