Armed with the resources to impersonate the police, our heroes set off to find clues at the various crime scenes around town. Carter gets everyone to try and talk to the dead, Maggie almost touches a dead body, and Randal almost immediately blows their cover!

It's been a couple weeks since the fateful encounter with the giant slug in the New Balance Factory, when the gang gets a mysterious message from Rose Spirit Tavern. With Mystery a foot the trio sets out to find the cause of some grizzly murders. 

Following a battle with an unpleasant slug, our heroes return to the Rose Spirit Tavern to recover and find some answers. What does Puck know? Who is the Lady Rose really? Will we really get answers? 

The moment of truth, are our heroes ready to take on the monster they've been working so hard to track down? Will they find and rescue the missing children around town? Will they have enough salt to vanquish the beast? Things are about to go down.
