Pia Jansen is a counselor and coach to humans as her primary role. But for the last 12 years she has included her herd of horses and donkeys as teaching examples for her clients.

Just by being themselves (no special instructions from Pia) people can learn problem solving, leadership, nurturing and more from the horse family. You will hear me say "fascinating" about a dozen times as I find this method new and interesting as I am sure you will too.

David Neils hikes the Colorado wild country three times per week. He is an expert on hiking and on off trail, tracking and predicting apex predators (like bobcats and bears), and has an infectious enthusiasm for exploring Larimer County parks and beyond. I could have recorded his fascinating tales for hours and will have to have him back on the show!

His website https://wildnaturemedia.com/ features a checklist of items needed before you head out, wildlife conservation, education, and research. He also has some amazing footage from his trail cams. He offers workshops and presentations too!
