We consider questions like:

What did you have to leave unsaid?

 What did you wish you could have talked about more?

Why is it important to ask: "Have we changed and if so in what ways? For better or worse?"

How do we stop and consider when we leave something without a healthy conversation?

As a faith community you called us to ask these questions… can you walk us through with a bit more detail and the ‘why’ behind them?

-How will we know, as followers of Jesus, if we have grown in our devotion, allegiance, and character as a Christian?

-What visible indicators might we see and experience in each other that would provide undeniable evidence that deep inner transformation has continued?

-What might we look for, in ourselves and others, that confirms a withering away or a flourishing, abundant life in Christ? 

What do we know about these early church letters?

What was unique about Galatia?

How does the average person experience the fruit we bear?

Is there something that we lack if we choose to only access some of the fruit and not all of it?

What do we know about love in the life of the Church that is a result of the Spirit at work?

Join Josh & Wayne as we talk through a few questions from our weekend teaching on June 19 & 20, 2021.

Questions like:

- What are ways we discover the condition of the soil of our soul?  Or actually the state of our soul? 

- You used a few couplets to describe what is driving Saul. Is there one of these that you think is a hangup for most people today?

- What are the different ways we consider God's truths? How do we expose ourselves to His truths?

- You mentioned, Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”  How do we guard our heart in a helpful way?

- How do we understand doing things our "own way"? But Hudson Taylor said, God's work in God's way never lacks God's supply.

Join us as we talk about the stories of Samuel and Saul, inspired by the May 29 & 30, 2021 weekend service.

We explore questions like:

- What do you wish you had more time to say? What did you have to leave out?

- With Israel, do we assume this was an inevitable transitions?

We are all about to have some sort of transition, “back to normal”?

- What are some specific ways, someone who is following Jesus, can handle transitions?

- What are the pros/benefits of Israel having a King?

- What does it mean that “the Spirit of the Lord came upon him”?

God has no grandchildren - there is not a “generation removed”

- How does this contribute to the cycles of faithfulness and falling away?

- I know it’s conjecture, but can we talk a little bit about why the nation of Israel would trade miracles for might?

- You closed with "May the story it tells be worthy of the God who loves you."

How do we deal with that word “worthy”?
