Maine Governor Janet Mills decided Friday to let a ranked-choice voting bill become law. This mean that Maine will become the first state in the nation to use ranked choice voting in presidential elections.

District 1 City Councilor Sean Rose has asked the City Administration to reach out and lay the initial groundwork that could start the ball rolling on brining the Maine Red Claws, the Celtics minor league affiliate, here to Worcester when their lease is up in Portland, Maine.

Portland says no way, but Worcester has been successful at bringing other large organizations to the heart of the commonwealth - case in point, the Worcester Red Sox.

Jay Ash is the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership President and CEO, and before that he served as the Baker Administration's Housing & Economic Development Secretary, and as Chelsea City Manager (his home town).

Jay was instrumental in helping get the PawSox to Worcester and getting Polar Park to the Canal District. He talks to us this morning about the development and progress he sees happening in Worcester and what he attributes that to.
